Designing the Asset Accounting Process in SAP S/4HANA

This course will prepare business users and application consultants the necessary skills to configure asset classes, business processes and perform year-end closing activities Asset Accounting in SAP S/4HANA.
This knowledge is particularly beneficial when defining and designing business processes in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
The training uses an SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition system and SAP Fiori.

• Configuration of new asset classes and account determinations
• Validation and substitution of asset master data
• Procurement of fixed assets with valuated and non-valuated goods receipts
• Explore down payments for assets under construction (AuC)
• Execution of year-end closing activities
• Perform asset transactions differently for each accounting principle
• Perform different settlements of WBS-Elements to AuC for each ledger
• Subsequent change of acquisition or production costs (APC) of assets through post-capitalization
• Subsequent change to the value adjustment (depreciation) of assets through write-up, unplanned depreciation
• Execute Depreciation of Fixed Assets
